In today’s world there are so many different styles. Some people dress the way they do to fit in, some may dress in their own personal, unique style. Often times people dress the way they do because that’s all they have. So, let’s talk about some different ways to dress.
#1 “Hipster”
You mainly see people dressed like this in New York or areas with bigger cities. Many people like this style, but I’m not a big fan of it.
#2 “Frat Boy”
So dressing like a “Frat Boy” is more of a southern style. Most college guys or even high school students are dressing like this. There are several different variations of this style. You mainly see this in college towns. They seem to be care free and are usually in friend groups and get called “arrogant” or ‘cocky”, and things of those sorts. This is how me and my friends dress.
#3 “Business”
Business attire is more of a nicer style. Depending on what kind of job you have depends on what your “business attire” may be. I really like this style and how you can dress it up or dress it down. The ladies love this look, it looks professional, but also looks casual if you match it with the right pair of shoes
#4 “Retro”
“Retro” is personally one of my favorite styles, high waisted jeans, bright colors, and cool cars. The vintage style is making it’s way back and i love that. Scrunchies are so popular again everybody has them. My parents think it’s funny but cool when i walk out my room wearing something just like my dad wore when he was my age. All in all i like alot of styles has to be one of my favorites, especially because this was Kelly Kapowski’s time period LOL!!
#5 “Hypebeast”
Being a “hypebeast” is NOT cheap, and isn’t for just anyone. Once again you mainly see this fashion style in the bigger cities. Being a hypebeast is when you wear all designer clothing such as, GUCCI, Louis Vuitton, Supreme, OFF-WHITE, Balenciaga, etc… Chunky sneakers are getting put with suits, sweat pants, skinny jeans, and whatever they feel like. This style is very cool and also very expensive, so if you aren’t willing to drop a band on a pair of shoes, or a few grand on a side bag this style probably isn’t for you.
Fashion is a very unique thing and is often used to express yourself. The first thing people usually look at when they look at you is your clothes, or at least I do. Some people judge you by what you wear and that’s not right. Some people may not be able to afford to wear designer clothes, or a nice blazer, or an expensive side bag, but that doesn’t make it right to pick on somebody because they can’t dress as nice as you. Just because you got Balenciagas on your feet don’t mean you can step all over somebody that has on some knockoff yeezys. You can dress nice all you want but if you aren’t nice that won’t get you anywhere. thanks for coming to me Ted talk, have a nice day.
